Terms for using ONIS.

These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the ONIS app published by ONIS Labs ("ONIS Labs", "the app", "we", "us", or "our") on iPhone and Apple Watch. By downloading or using ONIS, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

Effective date

These Terms are effective as of May 21, 2026.

1. Acceptance of terms

By downloading, installing, or using ONIS, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) and that you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

If you are accepting these Terms on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization.

2. License grant

Subject to these Terms, ONIS Labs grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use the ONIS app on Apple-branded devices that you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial habit-tracking purposes.

This license does not include the right to sublicense, modify, adapt, translate, reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or create derivative works based on the app.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to use ONIS to:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code of the app, except where expressly permitted by applicable law.
  • Resell, sublicense, rent, lease, loan, or otherwise distribute access to the app to any third party.
  • Use the app in violation of any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or security of the app or any systems it relies on.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the app or related systems.
  • Remove, alter, or obscure any proprietary notices (including copyright and trademark notices) in the app.

4. Intellectual property

The ONIS app, including its name, logo, visual design, user interface, source code, and all content created by ONIS Labs, is protected by intellectual property laws including copyright, trademark, and trade secret law. All rights not expressly granted in these Terms are reserved.

You retain ownership of the habit content you create within ONIS (habit names, descriptions, etc.). By creating content in the app, you grant ONIS Labs a limited license to store and display that content locally and via iCloud solely for the purpose of providing the app's functionality to you.

5. Intellectual property — third-party marks

Apple, Apple Watch, iPhone, iCloud, HealthKit, CloudKit, watchOS, and iOS are trademarks of Apple Inc. ONIS Labs is an independent company and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Apple Inc. Use of Apple trademarks in this document is for descriptive purposes only and is not intended to suggest any affiliation or endorsement.

6. Apple App Store terms — required disclosure

The following terms are required by Apple for all apps distributed through the Apple App Store:

  • These Terms are between you and ONIS Labs only, not with Apple. Apple is not a party to these Terms and is not responsible for ONIS or its content.
  • Apple has no obligation to furnish any maintenance or support services with respect to ONIS.
  • In the event of any failure of ONIS to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price for the app (if any) to you. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Apple will have no other warranty obligation whatsoever with respect to ONIS.
  • Apple is not responsible for addressing any claims by you or any third party relating to ONIS or your possession or use of ONIS, including: (i) product liability claims; (ii) any claim that ONIS fails to conform to any applicable legal or regulatory requirement; and (iii) claims arising under consumer protection, privacy, or similar legislation.
  • In the event of any third-party claim that ONIS or your possession and use of ONIS infringes that third party's intellectual property rights, ONIS Labs (not Apple) will be solely responsible for the investigation, defense, settlement, and discharge of any such intellectual property infringement claim.
  • Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms. Upon your acceptance of these Terms, Apple will have the right (and will be deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce these Terms against you as a third-party beneficiary thereof.
  • You represent and warrant that (i) you are not located in a country that is subject to a U.S. Government embargo, or that has been designated by the U.S. Government as a "terrorist supporting" country; and (ii) you are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.

7. Disclaimers

ONIS is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

ONIS is a habit tracking productivity tool. It is not a medical device, mental health application, or clinical tool. ONIS Labs does not provide medical, psychological, nutritional, or health advice. Do not rely on ONIS for decisions that require professional medical or mental health guidance. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional for such decisions.

We do not guarantee that ONIS will help you build or maintain specific habits, achieve specific goals, or produce specific outcomes. Results vary by individual and are not the responsibility of ONIS Labs.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ONIS Labs and its developers, officers, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

  • Loss of data, revenue, profits, goodwill, or business opportunities
  • Personal injury or property damage
  • Unauthorized access to or alteration of your data
  • Interruption or cessation of the app's functionality

This limitation applies whether the claim is based in contract, tort, strict liability, or any other legal theory, even if ONIS Labs has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

In jurisdictions that do not allow exclusion or limitation of liability for consequential or incidental damages, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

9. Data and account deletion

ONIS Labs does not require an account to function. If you wish to delete all data associated with your use of ONIS:

  • Open ONIS → Settings → Reset All Data to delete all local habit data.
  • iPhone Settings → [Your Name] → iCloud → Manage Account Storage → ONIS → Delete Data to remove iCloud sync data.
  • Delete the ONIS app from your device to remove all remaining local data.

10. Termination

These Terms remain in effect as long as you use ONIS. ONIS Labs may terminate or suspend your access to ONIS without notice if we determine, in our sole discretion, that you have violated these Terms or that your use poses a risk to us or others.

You may terminate these Terms at any time by uninstalling the ONIS app from all of your devices. Termination does not automatically delete iCloud data — see Section 9 for deletion instructions.

Sections that by their nature should survive termination (Intellectual Property, Disclaimers, Limitation of Liability, Governing Law) will survive.

11. Governing law and dispute resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which ONIS Labs operates, without regard to conflict of law principles. If you are a consumer in a jurisdiction with mandatory consumer protection laws, those laws may also apply.

We encourage you to contact us first to resolve any disputes informally. Most concerns can be resolved quickly by emailing support@onis.club.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this page and may notify you within the app. Your continued use of ONIS after any changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

We encourage you to review these Terms periodically. If you disagree with any changes, you should stop using ONIS.
